Jacob Narverud (b.1986) is an American Choral Composer/Arranger of Norwegian descent. A native Kansan, Jake is the Founding Artistic Director of the Tallgrass Chamber Choir, an ensemble of musicians from across the Great Plains. He is the Editor of Santa Barbara Music Publishing, Inc. and his music is printed/distributed by J.W. Pepper. As a sought-after composer, Dr. Narverud has been commissioned to write new works for more than sixty organizations nationwide, as well as ensembles in Australia, Canada, and Japan. Many of his titles are international best sellers and are performed worldwide by choirs of all levels. (Works List) (Commissions)
